The right fit for your processes

Production of medicine, food and other consumer goods relies on complex processes and the sanitary components that make them up.

The spools, tubes, valves, fittings, manifolds, panels, pumps and subassemblies that make up sanitary systems must meet strict customer specifications and stand up to rigorous quality inspection.

High Purity Systems offers custom parts designed for seamless integration into facilities in the following industries:

  • Food & beverage and brewing
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Biotechnology
  • Cosmetics
  • Consumer coatings and inks

Assuring public health and product quality

Hygienic systems are designed to ensure public health and product quality are maintained. Strict government regulations and industry standards are applied to the manufacture of these critical components.

For systems used in almost every sector listed above, The U.S. Food & Drug Administration requires exhaustive documentation of all stages of production of sanitary process components. In order to satisfy this need if required, we provide complete documentation of our work:

  • Raw materials are inspected upon arrival to ensure they’re within customers’ OD, wall thickness, ovality and surface finish (Ra) tolerances.
  • All actions performed by our craftsmen—every bore, bend and weld—is documented and validated in detail.
  • Quality fabrication is verified by our ASNT Level II inspectors.
  • All documentation is provided to customers and made available to applicable regulating bodies.

All our craftsmen and inspectors meet ASME’s B31.3 Bioprocessing Equipment (BPE) process piping standards and the food and pharmaceutical sanitary standards published by 3-A.

Custom components meeting your exact need

Our team understands that every facility—and the systems in use inside—are unique. While we stock a full range of standard sanitary components and recommend them when appropriate, special circumstances call for custom solutions. Sometimes, our craftsmen can modify and assemble stock parts to suit your need. In other cases, the best solution is to order raw materials and fabricate totally custom parts.

Customization is especially important for clean-in-place (CIP) systems that run more than one operation. Before a new operation begins, the system must be properly cleaned. Without custom drains, vents or valves, the system would need to be disassembled and cleaned in pieces. It’s a slow process resulting in costly downtime and the risk of not meeting deadlines.

Whatever the need in your facility, our team offers valuable design assistance grounded in decades of experience fabricating parts that make sanitary production operations safer and more efficient. With decades of experience working with aluminum, copper, titanium, stainless steel and other exotic alloy types suited for hygienic service, there’s almost no limit to the problems we solve for customers.
