While non-process piping applications lack the regulatory standards and documentation requirements of sanitary and high-purity process piping systems and components, they’re still critical to the safe, efficient operation of any facility.

High Purity Systems excels at fabricating and installing mechanical service piping in all kinds of facilities, from industrial to food processing to medical and more.

Mastery of materials and applications

Our team fabricates and installs mechanical piping for a broad range of industrial, medical and commercial settings. Our welding and installation experience includes these materials and applications:

  • Carbon steel pipe for mechanical rooms, chilled water systems, water and wastewater systems and for steam and steam condensate systems.
  • Copper pipe for lab gas, instrument air, clean dry air (CDA) and vacuum systems.
  • PVC, copper, carbon steel or stainless steel pipe for drain systems.
  • Stainless steel or PVDF pipe and other chemical resistant materials for non-process solvent systems or other chemical applications.
  • Various materials found in food and beverage facilities.

Gas vaporizer piping

gas-vaporizer-piping

When a natural gas and propane provider serving over a million homes and businesses needed to replace 50-year-old gas vaporizers, our team fabricated and installed the new equipment. The project required exact measurements and precise MIG and stick welding to ensure the new piping integrated seamlessly with existing site infrastructure. Read the full case study here.

MOCVD tool piping

In this expansive project, our team fabricated and installed the piping serving a metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) tool used in a semiconductor manufacturer’s new R&D lab. We used materials including PFA, PVC and stainless steel tubing to build supply lines carrying liquid nitrogen, gaseous nitrogen, compressed dry air, ammonia, dilute silane, hydrogen and chilled water. We understand facilities

Developing a full understanding of what occurs inside a facility is just as important for mechanical, non-process work as it is for process piping fabrication and installation projects.

Our expertise in fabricating and installing complex process piping systems and components suits our team well to safely and efficiently navigate mechanical piping around critical infrastructure.

Our welders are certified to all applicable ASME Section IX piping codes, including B31.1, B31.3 and B31.9.
