High Purity Systems, Inc., safety is our number one priority.
Employees at all levels are expected to strive for zero job
site injuries and illnesses and work diligently to execute the
company’s policy of maintaining occupational health and
safety. The company is committed to providing a safe working
environment for all employees at its multiple construction sites,
fabrication facility and corporate office. High Purity Systems,
Inc.’s safety program places a high emphasis on education
and ongoing safety training, hazard identification and elimination,
thorough program review and oversight, and a unified team approach
to workplace safety.
Our
safety manager, is charged with maintaining the safety program.
That individual is responsible for the proactive oversight of
our safety program, including continuous evaluation and updating
of policies and procedures, and ongoing training and education
standards. That individual also performs random job site safety
inspections.
We
believe that knowledge is the key to a safe work place. We are
proud of our thorough safety training program, which includes
both formal certification safety training as well as weekly
on-site “Tool Box Safety Talks”. Led by the project
foreman, these safety meetings address topics relevant to our
industry and hazards related to the type of work being performed
at the time such as confined space safety and lock-out/tag-out
procedures, just to name a few. The certification training includes
a variety of courses ranging from respirator training to the
operation of forklifts.
The
success of the High Purity Systems, Inc. safety program is attributable
to a team approach to job site safety, whereby all employees
are held accountable for maintaining the highest level of safety
standards and performance. We are dedicated to the endless pursuit
